This room is dedicated to our toddlers of 3 years old to 4 years old.
Stimulating environment where young learners explore, play, and prepare for their educational journey.
Develop foundational skills through structured activities and imaginative play, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The Pre-School Room Focuses
Social Skills
Developing the ability to interact positively with peers and adults, share, take turns, and work collaboratively in group settings.
Language and Communication
Improving vocabulary, listening skills, and the ability to follow instructions, which are crucial for understanding and participating in classroom activities.
Pre-Reading and Pre-Writing Skills
Introduction to letters, sounds, and basic phonics, as well as early writing skills such as holding a pencil, forming letters, and recognising simple words.
Numeracy Concepts
Building foundational math skills through counting, recognizing numbers, understanding basic shapes and patterns, and solving simple math problems.
EYFS skills are combined with the Shooting Stars Curriculum and cemented into children within the Pre-School Room. Providing a smooth sailing transition into primary education.
